Amalgamation to CI Investment Services FAQ

Why are we making this amalgamation?

We’re bringing these entities together to simplify operations and build a stronger foundation for future innovation in how we support and serve our clients.

Why am I receiving this notice?

You’re receiving this notice because there is a proposed change, effective August 1, 2026, to the legal entity under which your client’s investment account is held.

As an External Representative, there is no impact on your or your clients’ daytoday activities. The only change to these documents will be the updated name. However, you will still need to review and become familiar with the agreement referencing WealthBar Financial Services Inc., as well as the following documents:

  • Managed Account Agreement
  • Service Fee Agreement
  • Representative Service Agreement

To provide clarity during this transition, the table below outlines which areas that will remain the same following the amalgamation.
