Account opening process
Clients can follow the Account Opening Process and start by selecting the Joint Account type.
For all Joint accounts, we will need to have both account holders to submit the following:
- Create a profile on the Assante Connect site;
- Open a Joint account on their profile.
The account will be open within two business days and you will be notified by email once completed.

Can the joint subscriber see the account?
- Yes, but in order to do so, clients will need to link their Assante Connect accounts.

Who can transfer funds?
- All recurring or one-time deposits and withdrawals will need to be initiated by the primary account holder.
What banking information is used?
- We will use the banking information on the primary account holder's profile by default unless instructed otherwise.
