Account Opening Process

Once you invite a client, they will begin the process below. If your client already has an account, they can log in and click 'Open an Account' in the top right-hand corner of their dashboard to start this process. 


Steps

  1. Select the account type 
  2. Answer Know Your Client questions
  3. Select a model portfolio
  4. Confirm personal details
  5. Answer regulatory questions
  6. Add bank information for future transactions
  7. Enter account funding instructions (optional)
  8. Review and submit details

At this point, the account application will be generated and e-signed for all Simple Accounts. This applies to: 

  • Individual
  • TFSA
  • RRSP
  • Spousal RRSP
  • LIRA


For all other accounts, this step will be skipped as additional information is required to ensure the accounts meet your client's specific situation. More information on each account type can be found below.
