How can my client sign transfer forms?

Assante Connect uses e-signatures whenever possible but some institutions won't process these and we may need to get the forms wet signed (i.e. signed by hand and scanned).

E-signed forms

  • If the forms can be signed electronically, we will email the forms to your client directly.
  • We use Adobe Sign software for this and your client will receive an email similar to the image below:

  • Note that if the account is jointly held, the forms will go to the primary account holder first and once signed,  it will automatically go to the secondary holder's email to sign.

Wet signed forms

  • If the forms need a wet signature, the client will need to physically sign the forms and scan them back into their Assante Connect Document dashboard.
  • When we reach out to your client, we will provide instructions and a link that directs them to their Documents page below:

  • The client just needs to fill out the highlighted fields and upload a scan back to their Documents page which can be accessed from their Assante Connect Dashboard below:

If you do not see the institution on these lists, it is safer to assume that they do NOT accept e-signed forms.
