How does billing work?

Can I see the Service Fees I've earned? 

  • Yes. Just log into your Assante Connect account and review your balance, earnings, and payments through the Revenue section. 


How are fees charged? 

  • Assante Connect collects your Service Fee and our Management Fee from clients monthly. 
  • Your clients will see these fees as separate transactions in their account. Your fee will appear as "Advisory Fee" and the Assante Connect fee as "Management Fee". 


How often do I get paid? 

  • Assante Connect collects the fee on a monthly basis from clients, as such you will be paid either on the 15th or 30th commission run from Assante for your Service Fee.


How are payments processed?

  • Your fees will be processed through Grid on your Assante commission statement, under the category ‘Assante Connect Fees’, and will appear under your ROBOC-XXXX (ACM) or ROBOF-XXXX (AFM) code. 


How can I see my previous earnings? 

  • Underneath the Fee Tracker, click the calendar icon and select a month.


How do I change my Planning Fee? 

  • Click on a client's name to open the Client Summary then click the "Edit" button next to "Planning Fee". 
  • In the next box, you can update the Service Fee and write a quick message to your client. 
  • Once you click "Save", your email will be sent to your client informing them of the change.
  • Please note that if the fee is increased, you must send proof of client consent (LOE) to [email protected] prior to the end of the month in which the fee was changed.
  • NOTE: If Documentation is outstanding: Assante Connect will contact Advisor and the new fee will not come into effect until the LOE is received.
  • The LOE (Letter of Engagement) is available to Advisors on AANet.
