Link an existing client to your advisor account

In the event that one of your clients is not linked to your Assante Connect advisor account, you can follow the steps below to get the associated with your account. 


1) Login to you Assante Connect advisor portal through Navigator.

2) If there is an existing invitation showing as "Invited", you can click on their name and remove the invitation before sending a new one.


3) Hit the Invite Client button, fill out the client details, and send them a new invitation.


4) Your client will then receive the following email.


5) Once they click 'Open an Account', it will take them to the 'Sign Up' screen below. Please note that if they enter their email and password on this screen they will get the error 'Email has already been taken' as they already have an existing account. To proceed, they need to click the 'Sign in' button to get to the correct screen. 


6) Once they are redirected to the 'Sign In' page, they just need to complete the email and password fields before clicking 'Sign in'. 


8) After this, the client will agree to your Service Fee and the Financial Planning Services Fee Agreement.


9) Send your client this client-facing guide to help them follow this process.
