Problem: Currently users will experience login experience difficulty for Assante Connect on certain versions of Safari due to automatic security & privacy settings.

Solution for macOS Safari Desktop

Step 1: With Safari open, click on the “Safari” menu, then click Preferences.

Step 2: With the preferences open, click on the Privacy tab. Under Cookies and website data, change the setting to “Allow from websites I visit”. Then, close the window.

Step 3: You can now proceed to login to your dashboard.

Note - you can follow these directions in reverse if you wish to revert back to default settings after your session is complete. Note, if you do revert to default settings, you will need to follow this process again in order to log in.

Solution for iOS Safari mobile

1. Go to Settings > Safari 
2. On the Safari settings page, scroll down to “PRIVACY & SECURITY”. 
3. Set all 3 toggles highlighted to “OFF”
4. Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
5. Block All Cookies
6. Ask Websites Not To Track Me

You can now proceed to login to your dashboard.

Note - you can follow these directions in reverse if you wish to revert back to default settings after your session is complete. Keep in mind these settings affect your entire browser experience and are not specific to Assante Connect. If you choose to revert to your previous settings, you will need to follow this process again in order to log in.
